Texas Tech has added its second commitment of the weekend.
This time around, the Red Raiders notched a verbal pledge from junior college kicker Jonathan Garibay.
He announced his decision via Twitter.
Texas Tech was the first and only FBS school to offer Garibay.
The Red Raiders have made special teams a focus this cycle as Garibay is the second kicker to join the class.
Texas Tech now has 17 commits in its 2019 recruiting class, which is ranked ninth in the Big 12.
Garibay will be eligible immediately and have two years remaining.
