There were no shortage of pretty goals in the Seattle Sounders’ 7-1 win over the San Jose Earthquakes, but we probably won’t see another one quite like their fourth. The sequence that led up to Joevin Jones’ first goal of the night involved 32 connected passes, featured all 11 players on the field getting at least one touch and took about 90 second to completely unfold.

What I appreciated about this sequence is how the Sounders worked the ball deep into the Earthquakes end before completely resetting rather than trying to force the action.
