WSOC | Gaels Fall 4-0 to USF

MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's (6-5, 0-1 WCC) steady first half was not enough to overcome San Francisco on Saturday afternoon as they fell to the Dons in a 4-0 decision in their first home loss of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Saint Mary's had a strong defensive performance throughout the first half of the contest as they gave up only six shots while recording four of their own. Each team was forced to make one save during the half.

San Francisco took the lead within the first minute of the second half off a goal from Samantha Jehnings which was followed by another tally two minutes later from Miciah Madison.
