The dominos are beginning to fall in Philadelphia. With a dire need at wide receiver, the Eagles have waived Safety Andrew Sendejo.
The 29-year old Safet was signed as a free agent during the offseason but has endured a bumpy ride so far. He played in 52.9% of defensive snaps through the opening four weeks, but that number has dipped significantly in recent weeks.
Sendejo’s erratic style of play has quite literally been ‘hit-or-miss’ for the Eagles this year and although he’s made some impressive plays, his reckless tackling has cost the defense at times.
He ends his campaign in Philly with 1, sack, 1 INT, and 28 tackles.
