BOISE – This time last year, Boise State offensive line coach Brad Bedell was preparing for spring practices at Lamar when the Broncos surprisingly lost Scott Huff to Washington just a week before spring ball started.
He didn’t interview with the Broncos until the first day of spring practice and got the job a day later. He flew to Boise later that week on a Sunday, and was on the field coaching his new group the next day after already missing a week of action.
Things will be a little bit different this spring for Bedell, who will know his players names and what they can do when they hit the field on March 12.
