Has the Houston rivalry cooled?
Houston and FC Dallas have now faced each other twice, and each time, both teams have come away with a draw. The games are well-coached, but let’s face it - they are missing the edge that we hunger for in the Texas rivalry. Red cards? Gritty performances? Stunning performances? All missing.
I don’t know that the rivalry will regain its spark and intensity with both teams satisfied with a draw, but the third leg will likely be true test with huge points on the line.
