North Texas Soccer Club announced today the signing of 16-year-old FC Dallas Academy playmaker David Rodriguez to a three-year contract, pending league and U.S. Soccer Federation approval.
Rodriguez joined the FC Dallas Academy in 2017 and has scored 10 goals in 13 games for the U-17 team this season. Rodriguez has been called up to two U.S. Men's National Team camps at the U-17 level.
Rodriguez's older brother, Arturo, signed with North Texas SC on January 31, 2019.
"David changes games, he's able to settle the team and keep possession so we can build into the final third," said North Texas SC head coach Eric Quill.
