One of the standouts of the FC Dallas preseason game against the New England Revolution on Wednesday was the play of FCD's newest signing, Santiago Mosquera. Mosquera subbed on at halftime and played 11 minutes in a two-striker set next to Maxi Urruti in the 3-5-2 formation, then 33 minutes as a left wing in the 4-2-3-1 formation.
After the game, FC Dallas Head Coach Oscar Pareja had only positives to say about his newest signing. "Obviously it's his first game and he's growing accustomed to his teammates," said Pareja, "and understanding how they play... and how he can make connections.
