With the trade of Walker Zimmerman to Los Angeles Football Club, FC Dallas landed the #1 over allocation spot and a $250k/$250k general/targeted allocation money split. One hot topic of conversation following the move was who if anyone FC Dallas had targeted to sign with the #1 spot.

"We don't have someone in mind at this point," said FC Dallas Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt at the US Soccer Hall of Fame press conference. "But [the #1 allocation] is a great asset to have either to use, or it could also be monetized, or traded for a player in the league.
