The game will take place on Saturday, March 3 at 7 PM. FC Dallas are not listed as the away team in any other home openers.
While most MLS teams will feature at home within the first three weeks, two of Dallas' Western Conference foes will start with long road trips. The Portland Timbers will return to Providence Park on Saturday, April 14 after the completion of a $50m expansion of the Timbers' home. Walker Zimmerman's new club, Los Angeles FC, will take to the field at their new Banc of California Stadium two weeks later.
The full schedule, and nationally televised games, will be released in January.
