It's been a weird season so far. With so much upfront focus on CONCACAF Champions League play for FC Dallas, the MLS season is stealthily already six weeks in. So, it's time for an FCD progress report.
Let's get one caveat out of the way - everybody knows it ain't the same without Mauro Diaz. We all miss him. Unfortunately, his career's hovering dangerously close to one of those tragic what-might've-been stories. I still can't believe he's been here since 2013 (mid-season arrival) - yet because of injuries, every season has felt like we just get Diaz on loan from somewhere else.
