In the early afternoon on Thursday, United States Men’s National Team head coach Bruce Arena took to the press to recap the country’s recent January Camp and two international friendlies.
Arena began by addressing his concerns from his team’s first international friendly against Serbia, stating that his team did not look “sharp enough or coordinated enough to break them [Serbia] down.” Although he was disappointed with his side’s first effort, Arena seemed to be pleased with the performance in their 1-0 win against Jamaica.
In the draw, the new American head coach praised both the defense and team’s passing ability, even though he saw the playing conditions “not perfect.
