CLEMSON — Clemson’s pitching staff, which has been extremely effective over the first three weeks of the season, is about to get a boost.
During an appearance on WCCP The Roar on Tuesday, head coach Erik Bakich announced right-handed hurler Dane Moehler has been fully cleared to return and that he could be back as early as this weekend.
“He wants to pitch,” Bakich said. “He got cleared, and we thought March would be the month that he would be back, so I think we will see him hopefully as early as this week.”
Moehler suffered a season-ending torn UCL just before the start of last season.
