PROVO — The first day of fall practices is often like the first day of school with regards to taking roll. Who is listed on the roster? Who is actually practicing, and how much? It was all worth noting as preseason practices got underway at BYU on Friday.
Among the notables not listed on the initial 105 player roster included offensive linemen Brad Wilcox and Kyle Johnson, along with defensive end Sione Takitaki. Other notable omissions were deep-snapper Matt Foley, center Zac Dawe, defensive tackle Teancum Fuga, linebacker Tyler Cook, and fullback Taloa'i Ho Ching, among a few others.
