MUNCIE, Ind.- - With more wet and cold weather in the forecast for Mount Pleasant, Mich., this weekend, the schedule for Ball State softball's three-game Mid-American Conference series at Central Michigan has been adjusted.
The teams will now play a 1 p.m. doubleheader Friday and a single game Saturday, also starting at 1 p.m.
The Cardinals enter its final weekend of league play with a 31-16 (8-6 MAC) record and are currently percentage points ahead of the Chippewas 18-23-1 (8-6-1 MAC) in the conference standings.
After CMU won the first meeting between the two teams last season by a score of 2-1 (April 20), BSU rebounded to sweep an April 21 doubleheader by identical 2-1 scores.
